Should monsters on MMORPGs be more difficult

Stronger MMORPG MonstersThe idea crossed my mind when I considered how repetitive grinding can be and how much better it would be if players were awarded more for killing a monster, although it should require a lot more thinking and skill. Kind of like the Mabinogi combat style, where players need to think about which skills to use and use them in a specific sequence for every different type of monster.

Most MMORPGs only require players to spam a single button or a few buttons repeatedly on every single monster, then press tab and repeat the process. I think MMORPGs could benefit from things like quick time events, high benefits in exploiting an enemy's weakness as well as stronger monsters where battles don't last a single rotation of spells, but more like 30 seconds to a minute in order to make it feel like a difficult and rewarding battle.
